BfR Glyphosat Image Converter

Use this tool to convert the grayscale images to more readable black/white images. These are then combined into a single tiff image and OCR scanned with tesseract to produce a good machine readable form.

The convert.sh script does all the nessesary steps and leaves the two files:

• glyphosat_bfr.pdf
• glyphosat_bfr.txt

Requirenments

• go (golang)
• tesseract version 4
  • german language
• poppler-utils (for tiffcp)

Usage

Place the downloaded glyphosat images in a new directory named orig and use the original file names.

Run the convert script: ./convert.sh

Hashes
